A Big Thank You

Wow.

I just want to say thank you soooo so much for the love and support for my post yesterday. It felt so much better to get it off my chest and it got me out of the funk I had been in.

Thank you for letting me be human. I love you all so much.

So. I am letting you know tomorrow I am having a super fun DIY post from the lovely Tamber at Yellow Porch Light. I am super excited to share this!

I will  be launching my Follow Your Moon readings this next week along with a giveaway or two!! I will give more deets as it gets closer :)

Also in other news, I just dropped off my little Theo to get neutered today :( He has to be there all day and I am picking him up after work. Poor little guy. And yes, the picture above is Theo on his leash. Our street is super busy, and there are a lot of stray cats around so I try to monitor him the best I can. His lively spirit is so wild and he loves to be free so I try to accommodate to his needs. I am such a mother cat. Some people may think it's wrong or odd, but it works for us.

Thank you all so much!

Love and Blessings,
Marissa Moondaughter

  1. Those photos are so cool! Theo is adorable :)

You are an awesome cat mother for using a leash and looking out for his safety!! I would do the same for my guy but I think he would just always rush the door and he would get out if I gave him a taste of the great outdoors. I live on a busy street with lots of wildlife around so for he is stuck inside.

    1. Thank you Andrea :) Since his operation he has calmed down so much and not so keen to get out... I hope it stays that way!

  2. I just read your post now, much love and many hugs. There are so many wonderful "other mothers" out there, embrace them. I too have a very similar relationship (or lack there of) with my mom. It is a scar that never truly heals for a woman. I feel your pain, and fully understand. xoxo

  3. Sending so much love your way - I have my own mothering issues, so I think I know where you're coming from. Additionally, I worry about my own ability to mother and am child-free by choice for now because I know I couldn't be the mother that my child would need. (Maybe that's too much sharing, but I'm so excited about your bravery to open yourself up to the world. You rock so, so much.)

Anyway! Theo looks like a pretty darn happy cat on that leash. I've tried to do similar with my kitty, but he just looks forlorn and flops over like he can't move. Drama king. :D
