New Moon Giveaway: Nourish Offering

Happy New Moon in Taurus!

Taurus New Moon is earthy; inviting all your senses to indulge and nourish.

And I can't think of a better giveaway than this.

One lovely soul will win this: Ally Sand's Earth Oils Nourishing kit with the Headache Relief Oil, Aura Cleanse Gemstone-infused Massage Oil, a set of the Full and New Moon Bath Teas, and a Quartz crystal mined from the San Diego Desert!

Here is some info about the Goddess behind Earth Oils:

I started this shop after a long time dream I had to make a crystal infused line of products. I started putting crystals in my massage oils a few years ago, and I wanted to bring the healing powers it gave me to the world. I have also suffered with migraines since my teenage years, and I have been using my own roll on remedy which I have infused with amethyst and quartz for its extra healing powers. I am a huge lover of baths, and I always take a cleansing ritual bath before practicing any kind of spell or during full/new moons. I created a unique set of bath soaks and teas for you lunar ladies who wish to cleanse your body before any kind of rite on the full/new moons or just want to feel extra special and relax in a luxurious floral bath. Everything is made with organic essential oils and all the bath soaks are fragrance free to allow the natural scent of the herbs and flowers to really stand out.

I personally have her Headache Relief Oil and I love it! The Peppermint is not crazy overpowering but smells so intoxicating and feminine. And it does the job quickly! I love that it is a roll on for easy application to my temples, forehead and neck. I would almost wear it as perfume!

Last, but not least, another winner will win these two AMAZING prints from the artist Gwen Davies!

Aren't these beautiful?! The details are breathtaking.

I had originally ordered them just for myself, but me living in the US and her in Wales, it took longer than expected to get here. I contacted her about it and she immediately and generously sent me another copy. A few days later my prints actually arrived, and these ones too! I knew I had to share the love and asked her if I could include them in the giveaway and she was delighted! So whoever wins these beauties, I will be shipping them out to you from the US and they are still unopened and untouched :)

Cup of Tea: Ayurvedic Tea Consultation

I am so excited to share this Cup of tea with you all. And it was blended just for me. Isn't it beautiful? And not too mention delicious.

Lindsay Luna, Goddess at Whole Body Alchemy offers Ayurvedic Tea Consultations. It encompasses your concerns about your health and well-being, an in-depth look into your own Doshic constitution, and a custom hand-blended tea made by Lindsay herself.

I can get lost in Lindsay's beautiful site and her insight into Ayurveda. I have always been fascinated by the ancient science of Ayurveda and know I am Vata/Pitta, but I have never known where to go from there. Okay, so now what? And then I would forget about it.

In Lindsay's consultation she gave me a comprehensive survey to find out my exact Doshic ratio ( I love quizzes! ), and a break down of simple, affordable, and practical ways I can keep myself balanced. That is huge for me - I get easily overwhelmed (most likely my Vata!) and keeping things simple, yet efficient, keeps me sane.

I have started to incorporate some of her advice and I can already feel a difference in my body, mind, and soul. She gave me a key word to work with and it is so dead on in so many ways. She reaffirmed why I would be feeling the way I do and suggested ways to bring back my harmony and energy. THANK YOU Lindsay! I needed this on so many levels.

And the TEA! She told me all the ingredients and why she put them in, and when the package arrived it took my breath away!

So above is is my own custom blend of tea she created just for me, dealing with my own Vata/Pitta issues. I feel so loved and special. When I drank and sat in ritual with it, it was Divine. Mellow, soothing, fresh and sweet, I felt so centered afterward.

I HIGHLY recommend her tea consultation, and it is so affordable. Everyone should have this for themselves and experience Lindsay's wisdom and craft. She takes her time with you and I feel the love within my cup. So much healing and gratitude. I will definitely be getting a refill!! I am off to pour another cup...

Namaste,
Marissa Moondaughter

Another lovely reader will win a Intuitive Stone Reading from Tarot Kristy!

Here is a little info about what she does:

Hi everyone! I’m Kristy. I've been talking to rocks for what seems like forever. I’d love, more than anything, to be able to explain how I go about doing what I do. That’s easier said than done though. You see, each reading is completely different from the one before it. And it’s simply because each person is so very different. Each soul heals a different way. I let my intuition guide my hand, and Mother Earth my mind during the readings I give. She has a message that is both personal and special for each person I read for. It is through these tiny pieces of her that we are able to see and hear that message.

I do not focus my readings on prediction, but on a wider view of your path, your journey, your purpose and challenges – a focus which may provide us with a likely possibilities every now and then, but centers deeply on what you are here to do, where you need healing, and how to create the future you hope to achieve. I help you identify the things you need to focus on in order to heal, grow, and reconnect yourself with Mother Earth.
Her links:

She was so kind and gave me a reading, and I must say I was so touched. She knows each of her stones like an old friend, and each stone's story resonated with me and my current situation. Her reading was reaffirming, soothing, and I learned about a new stone among the many she pulled for me! I really loved it and I am sure you will too.

<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>

Last, and certainly not least, one last lovely reader will win a custom Incense blend made by Laura Emily.
In the words of Laura Em:

Giving away one custom Spring loose incense pack guided by spirit to aid you in your best intentions for the coming Spring. Custom incense pack will be made from a selection of herbs that have been cleansed and charged under the full and new moon. These custom incense blends are approached with sacredness and ceremony, allowing Spirit to guide me in finding the flowers and herbs that are calling for your attention. Custom incense pack will include a small branch of traditional white sage to smudge and cleanse off my energy before burning, along with a charcoal burning block. Burn the incense through the coming Spring season to assist you in your best intentions.

Laura Emily's new launch on March 20th under her name Laura Emily, LLC. If this video doesn't give you goosebumps, I don't know what will.

About Laura Emily:
may you build a beautiful life, reflecting earth and looking towards the sun + moon.
it is my ultimate desire to assist you on that path, tending the fire, examining the roots, and facing the morning sun together as we build something beautiful. Recently Good Earth Living, my herbal practice stretched and danced, but was ready to be laid down to rest, making room for spirit-filled intentions and gifts from my heart to yours. Pull up a seat with one of my ecourses on holistic and spirit led living, become a certified coach through my Apothecary Circle, and by all means, pass me the tea and lets chat one-on-one about the vision you desire to manifest. Love, how can I support you in this?

International Self-Love Day: Love Space of Laura Mazurek

>> In honor of International Self- Love Day <<

Hello Moondaughter readers!  I'm Laura from Roots and Feathers.  I'm excited to be here on Marissa's blog today sharing a little love nest I made in my home for the whole month of February in honor of Love.  I don't normally celebrate Valentine's Day really at all.  My husband and I don't exchange gifts or plan romantic dates.  It's always kind of seemed a bit silly to me.  But, I do love to honor Love itself.  And when Marissa asked me to share an altar of mine during February, I thought it would be wonderful to have a little space set up in our home for the whole month, in honor of this word.

The things I chose to place here in this space go beyond just the love between my husband and I, but also for self love.  As I was building it I realized just how healing it was.  I had just received these two prints from Erica Herbert, of the two beautiful naked woman.  The colors and playfulness of them bring me so much joy.  My own sexuality is something I need healing in, and these prints remind me of that.  I added specific stones for this as well.  Stepping into the age of such deep femininity, my journey here has began to get very real.  Setting these intentions I feel is opening up my being to the healing vibrations.

I also chose very calming elements, like my amethyst cluster, my donovan record, a lavendar peacock feather, and some lavender herbs. And the incense and sage.  These things bring me peace and a great sense of relaxation, which I think is a state needed for this healing process.  I included two rose petals in the lavender mix, representing my parents (who are both gone).  My journey of love and healing has so much to do with them and their loss.  I also added a medicine pouch my dear friend Lauren Luquin made me filled with healing intentions just for this.  It is such a sacred piece to me.  The beeswax candle is one made for feminine sexuality.

The little prayer flag is one I made for my shop, a little series of textile flags with words of intention.  I decided to keep it in this space until its ready for a new home.

Having this little space full of these things, in a place in my home I regularly walk by, has been a nice daily reminder.  I think Id love to create a new one each month, with a new intention.  My word for the year is Cultivate.  So maybe something Id like to Cultivate each month.

I hope everyone enjoys this International Self Love Day.  Id love to know if you plan on carving out a moment for yourself, and what you intend to do.  How do you celebrate your own sacred femininity through self love?  I think we can always learn from each other and help each other in these ways.  Thank you so much for sharing a moment in my space.

Peace,
Laura

Thank you so much Laura for sharing your beauty and sincerity. You are an inspiration <3

We teamed up together in honor of self-love today, so hop over to her blog and enter my love giveaway there <3

Full Moon: The Full Moon Altar of Ally Sands

Happy Full Moon, Moondaughters!!

I felt I wasn't sharing as much Moon lore as I have wanted to for the blog. So I created my 'Full Moon' series. It is called 'Full Moon' (I know, not very original) and it will focus on sacred crafts, rituals, and specific Full Moon altars in honor of this bright, magickal time of the month! This feature will be only once a month, so if you would like to participate let me know!

The first one is the Full Moon altar of Ally Sands of Aquarian Soul

For Ally, the Full Moon is a time to cleanse her most used crystals under the moon's ethereal light.

Her altar is low to the ground, great for kneeling and meditating, which she does before any ritual to ground and center herself. She also takes a ritual bath with essential oils and herbs to help her relax and cleanse her energy to prepare her for the ritual work.

Since January is her birthday month (Happy birthday, Ally!) she added some Aquarius symbols on her altar. This is a gorgeous vintage Aquarius pendant gifted from an old friend.

She also created a crystal mandala with her birthstone, garnet, at the center.

She always put fresh flowers on her altar because of the feminine energy and living energy it brings.

Crystal mandalas and grids are great to make during the Full Moon to help manifest your intentions.

Her beautiful sage and smudge fan.

This Full Moon, she decided to do some tarot readings. She used this Moon Garden deck to do a past present future spread.

And she picked one card from her Animal Guide Oracle deck. It's guidance was to meditate everyday this week.

Her sweet 18 year old kitty! Animals love the energy altars bring to spaces.

Thank you so much Ally for sharing your beautiful space with us! Go check out her amazing, magical items over at her shop!

Love and Blessings,
Marissa Moondaughter
