Hi Blogger, It's Been A While

This week wiped me out. So many traumatic things happened and I had to take a step back. My kitty is doing so much better (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU) but I also witnessed (while walking out of the vet) a dog getting hit by a car and my boyfriend saving the other. It was so painful, I sat in the parking lot and bawled my eyes out. Not to mention other little obstacles that just built up. This wasn't my week. AT ALL. It's Sunday now, and I am only starting to feel better and am re-emerging.

I am also processing a lot of changes with this blog and space of mine. As you know the relaunch is June 8th. I will be putting a lot of energy into some big projects I have in store for you all (hint: MOON RHYTHMS, yup ;) and I am trying to access my energy and distribute it out efficiently. I am not sure if I will be keeping a lot of features as I originally had in mind with the blog. I am thinking Moon Days has ran its course, and possibly Full Moon (there is an awesome Full Moon post coming up this week though!). But I want to know what you all think too. What do you want more from me? Less of? Please let me know! This blog might just become my personal diary of my own ebbing and flowing. And that is okay too.

Made an effort today!

I want to thank you for allowing me to step back to cry and rest and reflect. I love you all.

Love and Blessings,
Marissa Moondaughter

  2. Oh, Marissa. Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. I can't imagine seeing an animal hit by a car... I've panicked if a bird doesn't fly away fast enough... until the last minute. Dare devil birds. Do you know if the dog survived? So sorry that you saw that, poor dog and poor driver! *hug*

I'm looking forward to your space cleansing. :D I'll be honest, I love your features so so much. I don't want to see any of them go, however you've got to do what you love the most and what you enjoy the most. I'll definitely be reading no matter what you do, or do not, share. <3

I hope Sunday is treating you well and I hope next week is muuuuch better!

  3. Watching a dog get hit by a car is possibly one of the worse things that has ever happened to me (he was my dog -I am tearing up thinking about it) and I am so sorry that it is something you had to witness.

I hope that this week is kinder to you.

I am looking forward to the relaunch. I love all your moon posts, but I think blogs as diaries are also nice. Whatever feels right for you is what I want to see :)

  5. The pup was killed instantly and the person driving didn't even stop :( So so sad. My bf ran into on coming traffic to save the other dog, which he did and was fine. The two dogs got loose from the owner and ran out to the street. He had the strangest reaction, just left the dog with the vet and took off with the other, didn't even say thank you to Jimmy for what he did...
